If it's any consolation, Volume 2 has grown on me since I saw it. On reflection the more removed nature of the plot works to its benefit. rhysgdruryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16093278133368121929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7816842203248746015.post-84954250553033939732017-04-26T02:37:32.109+08:002017-04-26T02:37:32.109+08:00I saw it a few hours ago and I loved it. I'm amazed by Gunn. I still can't believe that, in spite of the lack of freshness of the first film, he managed to deliver such a stunning film.Sonia Cercahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07313734872038610058noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7816842203248746015.post-47305968272641132982017-04-26T00:38:14.588+08:002017-04-26T00:38:14.588+08:00Oh noes...I was hoping to read nothing but praise,...Oh noes...I was hoping to read nothing but praise, but your remarks are to be expected. Love what you said about the accomplishments of taking no-name comic book characters and making them household names. So very true. James Gunn did great work with volume one, and I'm still excited for volume two, but I'll be more prepared for a little lackluster of an addition.Courtney Younghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10046398591263571576noreply@blogger.com
